ATTP

ASTP was among the founding member associations that established ATTP in 2011. As a peer-operated organisation, the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) is powered by executives from our member associations who volunteer their time and expertise.

RTTP Programme

ATTP’s core accreditation functions, including continuous learning and the RTTP Program (Application Information - ATTP), are managed by expert standing committees that are also composed of dedicated volunteers.

Being recognized as a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) is the highest accolade for demonstrating an individual's unique contributions to their profession. The RTTP designation remains the only international recognition of professional standing in skills, experience, expertise, and ethics for knowledge transfer practitioners. Awarded solely by ATTP, this designation is recognised by all member associations and their industrial and governmental stakeholders.

The Peer Review Committee (PRC), composed of seasoned RTTPs with extensive experience across various cases and managerial roles, meticulously assesses all RTTP applications, both Full and Candidate, ensuring that candidates meet the high standards required for this prestigious designation. Applicants must demonstrate a comprehensive portfolio showcasing their professional attributes, experience, leadership, and unique contributions to knowledge transfer.

Course Accreditation

ATTP also recognises high-quality training materials developed by its members, ensuring that all accredited events uphold standards of quality, relevance, and ethical practice. ATTP’s accredited training programs are designed and delivered by experienced practitioners, yielding effective learning outcomes directly aligned with RTTP core competencies. ATTP strongly encourages local expert content and peer interaction to enhance the learning experience.

Accredited training supports lifelong learning and career advancement, enhancing attendees' skills, expanding their expertise, and improving their job performance.

The Course Review Committee (CRC) is tasked with reviewing applications for ATTP accreditation, ensuring that submitted training programs meet our rigorous standards outlined in the ATTP Course Accreditation Guidelines. This committee consists of experts in Technology and Knowledge Transfer from member organisations, all of whom have significant experience in designing and delivering tailored training for professionals in the field.
