Since 2014 ASTP’s, Survey Committee has collected and analysed data from hundreds of Knowledge Transfer Offices (KTO) across Europe, greatly supported by collaborating National Associations.
As the gathering of information about KT activities across Europe grows in visibility, the issue of defining and understanding KT metrics and their harmonisation also grows in significance.
This report, which draws on the data of 519 KTOs from 26 countries for the Financial Year 2019.
Chair of the Survey Committee during the compilation of this report, and newly elected President of ASTP, Christophe Haunold said:
“Now that ASTP’s Survey on Knowledge Transfer activities for 2019 is released we get an insight into the impact the profession has across Europe. While no means a universal report, 519 offices from 26 countries participated, the headline numbers are exciting and inspiring”
This Survey Report also incorporates the research undertaken in the first months of the COVID-19 crisis and analysed the impact of the pandemic on KTOs.
